Ordinary soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine can now receive a salary of up to 190 thousand hryvnia per month. The speaker of the Ministry of Defense, Dmitry Lazutkin, said this during a telethon on Tuesday, April 30.

“Difficult and risky work should be decently paid. And now a serviceman directly involved in hostilities will receive a minimum of 20,100 UAH – this is the basic salary, plus 100 thousand UAH for participation in hostilities and 70 thousand UAH for every 30 days on the combat line,” said Lazutkin.

In total, an infantryman can receive 190,100 UAH per month, and for officers the payments are slightly higher.

At the same time, outside the combat zone, military personnel are guaranteed to receive 20 thousand UAH, and if they perform special, but not combat missions, another 30 thousand UAH per month is added to the monetary support.

Also, according to a representative of the Ministry of Defense, military personnel can receive a monetary reward for destroyed Russian equipment:

  • for a military vehicle – 12,180 UAH,
  • per tank – 48,720 UAH.
  • for a ship of the first rank – more than 243,600 UAH.
  • for armored vehicles – infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers – you can get more than 42,630 UAH;
  • for a helicopter or plane – more than 48,000 – 120,000 UAH.

“To get this money, there needs to be an entry in the combat log, so that there is a report. And it would be desirable to have photo or video recording,” said Lazutkin.

Let us remind you that on April 12, the Cabinet of Ministers established an additional payment of 70 thousand hryvnia for military personnel and police officers. Such a one-time reward will be awarded for every 30 days of completing tasks on the first line of the front.
