by .More than a dozen people were injured in Russian drone and missile attacks on Ukraine throughout Tuesday, Ukrainian officials said.
Nine people were injured, including four children, in the southern city of Odessa by falling debris from an overnight drone attack, emergency services said.
The Black Sea port city has been under attack from Russian missiles and drones since the start of the two-year war.
“As a result of Russian terror, residential buildings were damaged and a fire occurred,” Ukraine’s state emergency service said in a Telegram message on Tuesday.
The army command in the south of the country said that the damage was caused by a falling drone shot down by air defense systems.
Emergency services released photos and videos showing the building on fire as rescuers cleared rubble and consoled residents.
Two of the four children affected were under one year old.
Later that day, four people were hospitalized as a result of a rocket attack in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Governor Sergei Lysak said in a Telegram message.
Another person was injured by falling drone debris in the Nikolaev region, the governor said.
The Air Force said it shot down 15 or 16 Russian drones that were strafing Ukrainian territory overnight.
Russia also fired two ballistic missiles, Ukraine said, but did not say whether they hit their targets.
Some of the drones were fired at the capital Kyiv, the city administration said.
