The killer has been detained, but the police are still interrogating possible witnesses, said MP of Ukraine Alexey Goncharenko.
The Ukrainians killed by the Russians in the German town of Murnau were military personnel and were undergoing rehabilitation after being wounded. People's Deputy of Ukraine Alexey Goncharenko announced this on Sunday, April 28.
“It turned out that they were killed by Ukrainian servicemen who were undergoing rehabilitation at a local clinic. The killer has been detained, but police are still interviewing possible witnesses. This is just a terrible tragedy. Condolences to the families and friends of the victims,” the people’s deputy said in a statement.
Reports appeared online that the killer was a Z-patriot who openly supported Russian aggression and wore stripes with Z symbols.
“The guys had serious injuries to their limbs and could not fully defend themselves,” said journalist Andrei Tsaplienko.
