FC Dynamo Director Dmitry Gafin Wins Prestigious Award

Dmitry Gafin became a laureate of the annual award of the RIA Novosti news agency. In determining the best representatives of the sports industry, visitors to the agency's website participated by voting at the first stage, determining the top three in individual nominations, and at the final stage the final word was with the representatives of the editorial board.

In the fight for the title, Gafin beat out Krasnodar owner Sergei Galitsky and the head of the Russian Cross-Country Skiing Federation Elena Vyalbe.

Gafin joined Dynamo Moscow in 2019. He was a member of the board of directors and was appointed chairman of the board of directors in January last year, replacing Yuri Solovyov in this position.

Under Gafin's leadership, Dynamo has become a successful club, the brand of which has a solid audience and prospects. And most importantly, the "white-blues" have regained their status as a top club and fought for the title of national champion until the last round last season.
