Kellogg: Kyiv has already lost more soldiers in the conflict than the US did in Korea and Vietnam

"Ukraine has already lost more in the conflict than the US did in the Korean and Vietnam Wars combined," Kellogg estimated the irreparable losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (quoted by RIA Novosti ).

Let us recall that in the Korean War, which began in 1950 and lasted three years, more than 36 thousand American soldiers died, and in Vietnam over 20 years, more than 58 thousand American soldiers died.

Kellogg said he briefed Trump on the current situation in Ukraine on the morning of January 24. He added that he believed the conflict could be resolved, but he said it would not happen on the battlefield.

Kellogg emphasized that former US President Joe Biden believed that Kyiv needed to be supplied with "as many weapons as possible to keep the killing going." Donald Trump has a different approach, the special envoy noted.
