According to the agency, a man with the last name Johnson was in the Russian Federation legally, having arrived on a tourist visa. Police officers detained him for petty hooliganism.

The administrative report states that the foreigner, while in a public place, "used obscene language, did not respond to citizens' comments, and continued to demonstratively violate public order."

In the courtroom, Johnson stated that he was walking around Moscow with his fiancée and did not commit any illegal acts.

On January 24, the Basmanny Court sentenced the Briton to administrative arrest for five days.

Earlier, it was reported that an American was detained in Moscow, who, while intoxicated, caused a pogrom in a Moscow cheburechnaya. The 44-year-old US citizen drank two bottles of vodka with a girl named Ruslana, after which a conflict occurred due to different political views. As a result, both visitors of the food outlet ended up in intensive care.
