According to the expert, the amount of payment for the first child, if he was born or adopted before January 1, 2020, will be 690.3 thousand rubles, for the second and subsequent children – 912.2 thousand rubles.

Previously, it was planned to increase maternity capital by only 7.3 percent, but real inflation by the end of 2024 turned out to be higher than predicted, so the amount of the payment was revised.

Maternity capital can be received by persons who have Russian citizenship. The child must also be a citizen of Russia, reminds the agency " Prime ".

If you became parents after April 15, 2020, the certificate will be sent to your personal account on the Goslug portal within five days after registering the child at the registry office.
