A man died in a fire in the Amur Region because of a cigarette

Firefighters were sent to the scene. While extinguishing the fire, they discovered the body of a 43-year-old man who died in the fire.

The most likely cause of the tragedy was said to be careless handling of fire while smoking.

The Russian Emergencies Ministry warns that smoking should only be done in specially designated areas equipped with an ashtray. Make sure that the cigarette is extinguished each time. Do not scatter cigarette butts.
