Rostov resident suffers fracture and burn from magic wand from marketplace

A resident of Rostov-on-Don bought an elderberry wand for her seven-year-old son on one of the Internet sites. The instructions stated that when pressed, the toy would produce a sheaf of sparks.
Luckily, the child was not hurt – the woman decided to check the purchase before delighting the boy with a gift. The magic wand caught fire in her hands, and the Rostov resident received a burn on her hand and a broken finger, the Rostov Region Ministry of Emergency Situations reports .
