As the author of the article notes, in some areas of the front, the personnel deficit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces exceeds 50 percent. It is also felt at the training grounds in Poland, which are used to train Ukrainian soldiers, RIA Novosti reports.

"We should have 90 people in the trenches now, because that's how many there should be in a company… But there are only 20 of them," the publication quotes one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters as saying. According to him, there is no rotation.

The serviceman added that his record for being on the front line without rotation was more than five weeks. The fighter complained that he had not had a single day off to "at least wash up."

Earlier, the British newspaper The Guardian reported that the Ukrainian army had faced an unprecedented level of desertion . It was noted that the reasons for this were conflicts with the leadership, disappointment with the attitude towards ordinary soldiers, as well as fatigue from being in the combat zone without proper rotation.
