The information was announced during a meeting of the board to summarize the results of activities for 2024, which was held at the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia in Moscow. Let us recall that the law allows debtors to establish a non-combustible balance on their accounts. To do this, it is necessary to submit applications to the bailiff service. This can also be done using the State Services portal. At the same time, as experts emphasize, not all debtors will be able to exercise the right to monthly preservation of the subsistence minimum. This opportunity is not available to malicious alimony defaulters. Also, such a measure is not applied in cases of compensation for harm caused to health and in connection with the death of a breadwinner. In addition, the debtor will not be able to establish a protective barrier if he compensates for damage caused by a crime.
In his speech at the board, Nikolai Konovalov, Head of the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service for Moscow, noted that 4.9 million enforcement proceedings of various categories were completed and terminated in 2024. The amount of funds collected in such proceedings in favor of creditors amounted to 89.4 billion rubles.
It is especially noted that last year, employees of the capital's bailiff service carried out work to restore workers' rights. Thus, the total amount of funds collected for wages amounted to 484 million rubles.
"The task of ensuring the safety of judges, participants in the trial and visitors to the courts is being carried out at the proper level," the department emphasizes. "Moscow bailiffs under the OUPDS provide security for 48 federal courts of general jurisdiction, arbitration and military courts, as well as 455 judicial districts of justices of the peace. In 2024, 3.8 thousand prohibited items were found in court buildings and premises, posing a potential threat to the life and health of judges and participants in the trial. 68.4 thousand requests for ensuring the safety of judges and other participants in the trial were fulfilled."
