Khabarovsk received almost twice the monthly snowfall

The snowfall has ended, and road services are cleaning the city streets around the clock. Khabarovsk received 23.6 millimeters of precipitation in seven days of February, which is 196 percent of the monthly norm.

"The work ahead will be difficult. The Russian Emergencies Ministry employees are helping drivers trapped in snow. On the slopes, they are helping heavy trucks, cars and ambulances. In total, during the snowfall, the rescue service employees have helped drivers on the roads more than 25 times.

Due to the improvement of weather conditions , restrictions on the movement of passenger and heavy-duty transport on the regional highway "Selikhino village – Nikolaevsk-on-Amur city" and the federal highway A-376 "Khabarovsk – Lidoga – Vanino – Komsomolsk-on-Amur" on the section 34 – 118 kilometers were lifted.
