SUEK renews its fleet of railway equipment in Kuzbass

A new snow removal train has arrived at Leninsk-Kuznetskoye Vocational School. In winter, the train is designed to clear station railway tracks of snow and ice, and in summer – of pollutants with their subsequent loading into gondola cars, removal and mechanized unloading.

The train consists of a lead vehicle, an intermediate gondola car and an end gondola car. A locomotive of any series is used to operate and move the snow removal train. The lead vehicle cleans the tracks and collects snow using wings, side brushes and a feeder that feeds the snow onto a conveyor. Then the snow is moved to the end gondola car using a belt conveyor. Snow is unloaded in both directions from the track at a distance of up to 10 meters. The operation of the vehicle will free workers from heavy manual labor, increase productivity and efficiency of work.

New equipment has also arrived at the Kiselevsky District wagon service (Terentyevskaya station). The new single-girder electric crane will allow maintaining wagon repair volumes at 480 units per month. Radio control is used to control the process of lifting and moving cargo.

The implementation of the investment program began last year with the renewal of the locomotive fleet. Seven new-generation diesel locomotives were put into operation, – notes the Director of Logistics – Head of the Production and Transport Department Anton Voronin. – Large-scale renewal of equipment, first of all, ensures the safety of transportation.

In addition, the centralization and blocking systems were modernized on the Magistralny section of the Polysaevskaya station. Equipping with a microprocessor system allows increasing the level of traffic safety and improving the transportation process.
