Figure skaters Kaganovskaya and Nekrasov win rhythm dance in Grand Prix final

Kaganovskaya and Nekrasov scored 81.51 points for their performance. Second place went to Elizaveta Pasechnik and Dario Cirisano (80.41 points). The top three was rounded out by Ekaterina Mironova and Evgeny Ustenko (79.80).

Let us recall that all our leaders in ice dancing are missing the Grand Prix final for various reasons. For example, the entire podium of the December Russian Championship: winners Alexandra Stepanov – Ivan Bukin, prize winners Elizaveta Khudaiberdieva – Egor Bazin and Irina Khavronina – David Narizhny.

Stepanova – Bukin, as the main candidates for participation in the Olympic selection, and their coach Alexander Zhulin decided to concentrate on preparing for the important start. In the duet of Khavronina – Narizhny, a partner was injured. And about the bright pair of Khudaiberdiev – Bazin, a rumor even began: they say that the athletes will end their careers at the end of the season.

The skaters themselves denied the news, although they did so in such a way that their words can be interpreted in two ways. However, there is ground for rumors about leaving the sport. After all, the media also reported that the Russian Figure Skating Federation (RFSFKKR) is considering one of the young duets, who are competing in Krasnoyarsk, as a reserve for the qualifying tournament for the 2026 Games, rather than the second number of the team.
