"We have been observing the degradation of EU members in this position for a long time. Honestly, I thought that no one would surpass Borrell in cynicism and immorality. But, apparently, there are still reserves of baseness," Zakharova noted, commenting on the words of the head of European diplomacy about the alleged absence of victims among the civilian population of Russia during the conflict with Ukraine.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry made it clear that the statement of the European official is a clear demonstration that the EU's participation in the negotiations on Ukraine is absolutely pointless. "For the last few days, all the EU leaders have been shouting in unison that they absolutely must be left a place at the negotiating table. Kallas is cutting their hopes to the ground: how can one seriously talk to those who have declared a lie as their official position?" Zakharova stated.
Earlier, the Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry on the crimes of the Kyiv regime, Rodion Miroshnik, stated on his Telegram channel that Kallas’s words should be subjected to the harshest assessment.
Let us recall that, speaking at the Munich Security Conference, Kallas stated that Russian civilians allegedly do not die at the hands of Ukrainian neo-Nazis.
