I meet employers: who is needed and how much are they willing to pay. A giant plant produces equipment for the power industry: transformers, high-voltage equipment. The number of employees exceeds 2 thousand people. Looking for electricians, fitters, machine operators. Promises 67-70 thousand rubles.
– We already have one SVO veteran working for us. He was demobilized after being wounded, but it turned out that he is a gas welder from God. He is priceless, he even has a personal driver to take him to work. We do everything to retain such employees, – the HR manager says.
Employers understand that on the one hand, a former military man is a reliable, disciplined worker, on the other hand, he is special. But this does not scare them. Many are ready to help SVO participants adapt to civilian life, and therefore agree to take a person even without a specialty and pay for training. The training period is from three to six months, and from the first day of employment, the employee will receive no less than the subsistence level. And after certification, he will receive a rank, on which his salary will depend.
– We lack people with aviation education, we need aircraft assemblers, mechanics, technicians and engine testers, technologists, designers, quality control inspectors, – they say at the company that produces the Baikal aircraft. And they are also ready to train. In general, factories offer vacancies for welders, mechanics, assemblers of electronic equipment, CNC machine operators, electricians. They are ready to pay up to 60 thousand rubles, depending on experience and length of service.
Among the first visitors to the fair is 55-year-old Vladimir Volkov. A volunteer driver in the SVO. He is on leave until March 7, and came to figure out what vacancies would suit him when he returns to civilian life. This is, by the way, a special feature of the fair: those who are still serving can come here too.
– My grandchildren have grown up, I don't need to sit with them, so I thought that when I return home, it would be boring to stay at home from morning to evening. Who knows, maybe I can work in security, – he says.
And a suitable option seemed to have been found: a company in the Khimmash microdistrict, which is next to his house, needed a security guard. Vladimir agreed with the HR manager to call in the summer.
And also needed are educators, teachers, tutors, cooks, doctors, junior service personnel of social institutions. Here salaries are lower – up to 45 thousand rubles, but it is possible to combine. This is work for women.
Elvira, a paramedic by her first education, and an economist by her second, came to find out where her knowledge and abilities could be in demand.
– My husband is a military man, he serves in the tank troops, he was understanding about my desire to work, – she says. – I am looking for an option with a salary of 70-80 thousand rubles. However, I understand that for this I need to gain experience, that is why I am here.
It seems that Elvira is unlikely to find a suitable place for herself today, but she has signed up for courses for accountants and financiers.
According to the organizers, in Yekaterinburg there is only one unemployed person for every nine vacancies, the personnel shortage is huge. Only 20 people came to the fair. Not many. But the representatives of the enterprises did not seem discouraged and are ready to continue meeting with the SVO participants. Next time – at their own place, where they will be able to immediately evaluate the workplace or meet their future boss.
