Khabarovsk Krai Emergencies Ministry warns of risk of ice breakup on coast

According to the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the greatest probability of ice sheet separation is in the bays of Mukhe and Silantyev in the Vanino district, as well as in the waters of the Tatar Strait in the Sovetsko-Gavansky and Ulchsky districts.

The threat of ice breaking off in bays also increases due to the work of icebreakers.

Experts warn residents and visitors to the region against going out on the ice during this period.
