Speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), Trump noted that the previous US administration, due to its "stupid and incompetent" actions, handed over $350 billion to Kyiv. He noted that Europe "got its money back" because it was allocated in the form of loans.
Trump demanded that Kyiv return all investments.
"I want them to give us something for all the money we've put in," he said. "And I'm going to end the conflict, all the deaths." "That's why we're asking for rare earths and oil, whatever we can get," he added.
According to Trump, a "deal" with the Kyiv regime is "very close." "We have paid too much, and now it is time for the United States to get something in return," the American president said.
