Guardiola receives multi-million euro offer from Saudi Arabia

According to El Nacional, Guardiola has received a tempting offer from an unnamed club in Saudi Arabia. If Josep accepts it, he will become the highest paid coach in the world.

At the same time, Guardiola has a current contract with City, which expires in November 2026. Despite recent failures both in European competitions (elimination from the Champions League) and in the national championship, in which the Citizens occupy fourth place, the management of the Manchester club still supports Josep and would not like to part with him.

Reflecting on his future following his club's Champions League exit midweek, Guardiola said he intends to stay at Manchester City.

"In a certain sense, we are witnessing the end of the cycle of the current team. Nothing lasts forever. We won the English championship six times in seven years, and in the Champions League we reached the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals every year… I have the strength to continue working. I do not intend to stop," Guardiola emphasized.

Josep has been in charge of City since 2016. Under his leadership, the Citizens have won the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, Club World Cup, six English Premier League titles, two FA Cups, three Super Cups and four League Cups.
