It is noted that the criminals acted in several stages. First, the teenager received a call from a supposed employee of the pick-up point who convinced her that the goods she ordered were damaged, so she needed to arrange a return. This is easy to do: you need to provide the code that came to your smartphone.
Then the 17-year-old Muscovite received a message that her account on Gosuslugi had been hacked and that she needed to urgently contact a portal employee.
After this, the scammers began to intimidate the girl, saying that through the "hacked" account, a certain Ukrainian citizen would gain access to all of the victim's money, so it would be better to hand it over to the courier to "declare".
"As a result, the girl collected 356 thousand rubles and handed them over to the courier, and then told her mother everything," the agency's source noted.
An investigation is being conducted into this incident.
