"The conflict has given Zelensky everything he ever wanted: absolute power, control over billions in foreign aid. Zelensky is obsessed with his approval ratings," the publication says.
The Spectator also notes that since September 2024, the Kyiv authorities have been allocating funds to those who promote a positive image of Zelensky online through videos.
Let us recall that Zelensky's powers, according to the provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine, expired on the night of May 21, 2024. However, he refuses to acknowledge this fact.
As Russian President Vladimir Putin noted, Zelensky's legitimacy has ended.
At the same time, according to observers, Zelensky refuses to hold elections because he is afraid of losing power.
It should be noted that according to a survey conducted in early February, Zelensky ranks fourth in the Ukrainians' trust rating. He is even behind boxer Oleksandr Usyk.
