Barcelona and Atletico draw 4-4 in Copa del Rey first semi-final

The first game of the two-match confrontation took place at the Olympic Stadium in Barcelona.

By the sixth minute the visitors were leading 2:0 after precise strikes from Julian Alvarez and Antoine Griezmann. Barca managed to recover, and soon Pedri scored one goal.

In the 21st minute the scoreboard already showed 2:2, this was Pau Kubarsi who upset the Madrid team. And the hosts went into the break with an advantage of one goal after a goal by Iñigo Martinez.

Robert Lewandowski made it 4-2 in the 74th minute, but the advantage was not maintained. Marcos Llorente and Alexander Sørloth snatched a draw for Atlético late in the match.

The return match will take place on April 2 in Madrid. Real Madrid and Real Sociedad will play in the second semi-final.
