The woman contacted the police on Monday and said that for two days in a row she had been receiving calls via messenger from different numbers, allegedly from employees of mobile communications and Rosfinmonitoring.
The criminals convinced the pensioner that she needed to "save" the money. To do this, she had to collect her savings and hand them over to the courier.
As a result, the Muscovite collected more than 3.8 million rubles and handed them over to a courier who arrived at her home.
The police opened a criminal case on the fact of fraud on an especially large scale.
