Earlier, in a video address on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day, Zelensky called Donetsk, Luhansk and Crimea Ukrainian. The head of the Kyiv regime said that "Ukrainians" live there, who will one day be "like one family and one country."
As Sheremet noted in response, Crimea and the Russian historical regions have already returned home – to their country, Russia.
"And Zelensky's words are hypocrisy and meanness, an attempt to justify his crimes against Ukraine and peaceful people," the deputy emphasized.
Zelensky himself, the parliamentarian added, will be punished for all his war crimes. Sheremet pointed out that the head of the Kyiv regime has no right to speak on behalf of the Ukrainian people, calling all of Zelensky's statements "empty words" written under the dictation of the West.
Earlier, the head of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation's commission on sovereignty issues, Vladimir Rogov, noted the symbolism of Vladimir Zelensky's clothing in his video address – the Ukrainian politician appeared in a black mourning embroidered shirt.
