Passenger train derails in Transbaikalia

According to preliminary data, the incident occurred at Arteushka station. The locomotive of a passenger train suffered a wheel pair derailment, but did not overturn.

As a result of the incident, no one was hurt. A recovery train was called in to eliminate the consequences of the incident.

A pre-investigation check has been launched under Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic safety rules and operation of railway transport). The circumstances and causes of the incident, as well as the amount of damage caused, are being established.
