The festival program includes five main locations located in the estate. Thus, in the "Ancient Rus'" location, participants will test their knowledge in a thematic quiz about the events of the ancient Russian period. In the "Tsarist Rus'" zone, you can practice deciphering birch bark letters, and in the "Imperial Russia" zone, guests will be offered to solve a historical crossword puzzle filled with riddles from the 18th-19th centuries.
The unifying thread of the interactive journey through the eras of Russia will be the quest route: participants will receive route sheets where they must mark the passage of each zone. Those who successfully complete all the tasks will receive special gifts from the organizers.
"It is very important to create a space for strengthening family values with immersion in the history of the country, showing the connection between generations through traditions using the example of the centuries-old history of Russia," noted Andrey Loskutov, director of the Ostafyevo-Russian Parnassus Museum-Reserve. "The Mashina Vremeni family festival provides just such an opportunity."
