Suspect in Parubiy's murder detained in Khmelnytskyi region

"Volodymyr Zelensky announced the arrest of a suspect in the murder of Parubiy," the publication says.

The publication adds that investigative actions are currently being carried out with the detainee.

The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klimenko reported that the suspect was detained in the Khmelnytsky region.

"The probable shooter was detained in the Khmelnytsky region a few minutes ago," Klimenko wrote on his Telegram channel.

He did not provide any details.

Let us recall that Parubiy's murder became known on Saturday. He was shot in Lviv. The politician died from his wounds before the doctors arrived.

According to Strana, Parubiy was shot by a Glovo service courier , who is currently being sought. Ukrainian journalist Vitaliy Glagola later stated that eight bullets were fired at the politician.

The day before, it was reported that Ukrainian police officers could not identify the killer who shot Parubiy, the killer because of the helmet he used. According to law enforcement, the killer carefully planned his escape routes in order to leave the scene through "blind spots" that are not covered by cameras.
