The Governor of Kuban and the Head of Krasnodar took part in the opening of a school for 1,875 students

"Today, 1,252 schools have opened their doors in our region after the summer holidays, where 780 thousand students will sit at their desks, including 68 thousand first-graders. Success in everyone's life begins at school. Therefore, we are making every effort to ensure that our youth can develop their talents. For this purpose, 105 schools have already been built in large cities and small villages of the region over the past ten years. In addition to studying, children can engage in sports, creativity and many other activities. I am sure that each of you will find something to do to your liking and will be happy to attend classes. In the future, you will be able to glorify our region and country. I wish you confidence in the future and the achievement of your goals. May your life be active and successful," Veniamin Kondratyev noted.

The school on Shturvalnaya Street is designed for 1,875 students. It is one of the largest educational institutions in the Southern Federal District. Educational activities there will be built on the principle of a full-day school. For the comprehensive development of children, two libraries, large reading rooms, a museum, a publishing center, 3D modeling and robotics rooms, and six gyms are equipped. Sports and playgrounds, a football field with running tracks are arranged in the school yard.

Here you will gain knowledge, and all the conditions for sports and creativity have been created here. Thank you to everyone who took part in the construction of this social facility. Guys, set big goals for yourselves, study and develop, you are the future of our city," said Evgeny Naumov.

The head of the Kuban capital also presented the school's director Olesya Samokhvalova with a bell with a special engraving "From the head of the city of Krasnodar E. M. Naumov. 2025. Bon voyage!" This is given to each new educational institution of the city on its opening day.

After the ceremonial assembly, Veniamin Kondratyev and Evgeny Naumov inspected the classrooms, including the robotics department, the cafeteria, the assembly hall and the sports hall. The regional and city leaders also talked to the children.

On Knowledge Day, Krasnodar school students were congratulated at ceremonial assemblies by deputy heads of the city. In total, more than 206 thousand children and teenagers sat down at their desks in the Kuban capital this academic year.
