The prosecutor's office will check the legality of a loud night party in Kronstadt

According to the department, St. Petersburg residents in their appeals referred to numerous violations of peace and quiet at night.

On social networks, local residents reported that the event, which looked more like a "sabbath", took place just 300 meters from the Eternal Flame and the Naval St. Nicholas Cathedral.

The Kronstadt district administration, meanwhile, noted that the event was held without approval on private property. The authorities are currently investigating the incident together with law enforcement agencies.

The prosecutor's office will assess the extent to which the festival organizers complied with the requirements of the law on ensuring the safety of citizens and public order, including at night. After that, a decision will be made on the application of prosecutorial response measures.
