Drone captures Russian soldier's emotional reaction to dropped water bottle

The bearded soldier gave the drone camera a thumbs up, then spread his arms as if to embrace the invisible cameraman, shook his clenched fists in the air, pressed the precious bottle to his heart and kissed it.

He also pointed to his comrade in the dugout, saying that he, too, could use a bottle of water.

"Water is life. Especially on the front lines, when it's +30 and above outside. Where there is a battle, they pray silently for it. Logistics are difficult, it's not always possible to fly to the position," wrote the channel of the volunteer reconnaissance and assault brigade "Wolves" that published the video.

The video was filmed in the area of the village of Novopavlovka in the Dnepropetrovsk region of Ukraine, where fighting is currently taking place.
