The work is being carried out together with the staff of Kuban-SPAS, the Southern Horse-Canine Rescue Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, as well as rescuers from the Rosa Khutor mountain resort.
From September 1 to 3, foot groups surveyed the mountain forest massif between the Perviy and Vtoroy Galion rivers, the slopes of the Krasnaya Skala and Podkova mountains. A Ka-32 helicopter was brought in for the work.
A visual search was conducted from the aircraft from the Krasnopolyanskaya hydroelectric power station to the southern shoulder of the Aibga ridge, examining clearings, discharges and rocky areas, but no traces of the victim were found.
As it became known, he acted as a guide for two tourists and disappeared. It is specified that since the beginning of the search operations, 43 rescuers and eight units of equipment have been involved from YURPSO alone.
