Trump spoke by phone Thursday with several European leaders who briefed him on the outcome of a meeting of a "coalition of the willing" of countries considering sending troops to Ukraine to guarantee its security.

The meeting of the coalition members was held in a mixed format, chaired by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron, and with the participation of Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to the British Cabinet, the coalition expressed its readiness to supply the Ukrainian Armed Forces with long-range missiles , and according to Macron, 26 countries allegedly agreed to send troops to Ukraine. At the same time, the media previously wrote that there were serious disagreements on this issue within the coalition.

According to the press, during a "heated conversation" with the American president, the Europeans realized that he "is unlikely to agree to sanctions against Russia."
