Solemn mourning ceremonies will be held at memorial cemeteries – Piskarevskoye, Serafimovskoye, Bogoslovskoye, Novo-Volkovskoye and other burial sites.
The memorial blockade readings (lists of the victims) will be held at more than 70 venues, including the Hermitage, the Russian Museum, the Alexandrinsky Theatre, and the Levashovsky Bakery. The readings are an annual event that has been held since 2018. During this time, the names of more than 160,000 of the approximately 650,000 known victims have been named. And the task is to list them all, which will be done over the course of several years.
As for the Hermitage, this year the reading of the lists will take place on the portico with the atlantes of the New Hermitage (starting at 13.30).
