A Saratov resident lit a barbecue and set himself on fire

As reported by the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the accident occurred last Saturday in the village of Kozlovka in the Gagarinsky District, a suburb of Saratov.

A 47-year-old local resident was lighting a barbecue next to his home. The man used lighter fluid to start the fire, but did it so carelessly that his T-shirt caught fire.

Luckily, his wife was by his side and helped put out the flames.

"The victim of the fire with burns was hospitalized," the department's press service reported.
