The share of illegal goods for construction and repair on the Russian market has been named

Currently, the production of goods for construction and repair is mainly localized in Russia (in "Petrovich" the share of Russian goods reaches 95%), however, the country cannot do without imports (tools, electrical equipment, etc.) at all, Movchan believes. It is precisely in the import of goods that the Federal Customs Service (FCS) records a large number of violations.

According to Movchan, the share of counterfeit goods can be minimized only through the integrated work of all participants in the supply chain – from customs to trade (including marketplaces).

In particular, tightening customs control, certification and eliminating cargo schemes can bring significant additional funds to the budget. It is also important that all participants in the online trade market bear joint responsibility for the quality of the goods displayed on the shelves of the online store and digital platform. Internal quality control systems of companies participating in the market will also help in the fight against counterfeiting.
