Mash: Moscow Region Resident Moved His House Four Times for Mortgage
Published: by .
According to the channel, the man took out several mortgages at preferential interest rates and literally moved the building from place to place in order to report to the banks and each time pass off the same house as a new one.
It is noted that the house stands on a pile foundation, and the man hired specialists for the work. At each new location, he photographed the building and sent a report to the bank to prove that he had not received a preferential mortgage in vain. The farthest move was as much as 70 meters.
"In the end, the enterprising owner successfully sold the house along with the plot of land – he needed the money for his business," Mash concludes.
It is not specified whether the man managed to pay off all his mortgages. It is also unknown how the building itself survived all these "travels".
