The Zapad-2025 exercises continue according to the approved plan

Having emphasized that the maneuvers are continuing in accordance with the approved plan, the ministry specified that air cover at the crossing was provided by Belarusian pilots in Mi-35 attack helicopters.

After the successful crossing, Russian motorized rifle units were tasked with beginning to block the illegal armed formation.

"The coordinated actions of the Belarusian and Russian military personnel demonstrated a high level of interaction and coordination between the allied armies," the Defense Ministry reported, recalling that the exercises will last until September 16 at the training grounds of the two fraternal countries.
