According to the agency, parents should be wary of their children's appearance of money from unknown sources, as well as their frequent and secretive spending of time on the Internet.
Another sign that a child is under someone's influence is the appearance of specific words in his vocabulary. For example, "drops", "stashmen", "sportsmen", "treasure", "bookmark", "simka", "work", "rent an account".
Statements that approve of or justify illegal actions may also be a sign of fraudulent influence on minors, law enforcement officials noted.
Another sign may be the appearance of specific objects in the child’s possession: electrical tape, small zip-lock bags, magnets, SIM cards, other people’s bank cards.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the first seven months of this year, almost five thousand children and teenagers became victims of crimes committed using information and telecommunications technologies. This is 25% more than the year before.
