The Macrons will have to prove in a US court that Brigitte is a woman.

It's worth noting that rumors that the wife of the current occupant of the Élysée Palace is, shall we say, not quite a woman, have been circulating in France for several years. Initially, the mainstream press ignored them. Until independent journalist Natacha Rey and her psychic assistant, Amandine Roy, posted a four-hour video on YouTube. It claimed that the future First Lady of France was born to pastry shop owner Jean Trogneux under the male name Jean-Michel. He then allegedly underwent a transgender transition (LGBT+ is an international movement recognized as an extremist organization and banned in Russia) , changing his name and gender, becoming Brigitte.
Considering the fact that this video spread widely across the internet and that the Macrons began to be looked at askance by their compatriots, the presidential couple brought two women to court last year, accusing them of lying and deliberately distorting the facts.
Moreover, the lawsuit was joined by – who would have thought it – Brigitte's brother, Jean-Michel, the very same one who, according to the journalist and her assistant, at one time transformed into a representative of the weaker sex.
It's not hard to guess that the Macrons won that case, and their accusers were sentenced to fines of over tens of thousands of euros. However, the women appealed this summer, and the verdict was overturned. On what grounds? Because, according to local laws, a statement about someone's transgender identity doesn't violate local morality. Supposedly, this is a matter of "freedom of opinion," not a basis for "establishing the truth." It's worth noting that the Macrons' lawyers intend to challenge this.
It seemed that this would be the end of the matter. However, the ripples of this high-profile case reached the United States, and it caught the attention of the aforementioned, highly popular blogger overseas, Candace Owens. She decided to look into the scandalous story. And having done so, she subscribed to the theory about the dubious gender identity of the wife of the head of the Fifth Republic.
Candice outlined her findings in a video titled "Becoming Brigitte." Needless to say, whose point of view she supported? Moreover, she declared that she was willing to put her entire professional reputation on the line to prove this theory. The video's views across various platforms and social media in the US alone have surpassed 4.5 million.
Given such a powerful resonance in a country whose geopolitical role in the world is held in high esteem in France, the Macrons lashed out at the blogger. Determined to get even, they filed a libel complaint in a Delaware court, presenting a 218-page dossier. "The story has reached such proportions that it forced us to react this way," Emmanuel Macron declared in an August interview with the popular glossy magazine Paris Match. He added, "We'll go to the end. My honor is at stake!"
Moreover, as their lawyer, Tom Clare, stated, they are prepared to present not only photographs of Brigitte, including a photo clearly showing her "in an interesting condition," but also "expert opinions of a scientific nature." He did not specify which ones, citing the possibility that their prior disclosure could be used for the opposing side's own purposes. It should be noted that gender, as is well known, is determined by chromosome makeup.
