"Simply immoral": Hetmantsev reacted to the situation with the rapid increase in the price of charging stations

The Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Verkhovna Rada, Danylo Hetmantsev, reacted to the rapid increase in prices for power banks, EcoFlow charging stations, and other equipment.

Hetmantsev emphasized that after the recent massive attacks on energy infrastructure, prices for such devices have jumped by hundreds of percent. For some products, by thousands of hryvnias.

There is demand, there is supply, and a change in the correlation between them can indeed affect the price. In this case, state intervention would disrupt the market.

"But in this particular situation, it is primarily about the issue of the moral qualities of those who do not understand the difference between the "spirit of capitalism" and the lack of conscience," the deputy emphasized.

He stated that speculating on essential goods, trying to "warm up" people instead of maintaining the availability of light and heat sources on market terms under constant enemy shelling, is "simply immoral."
