British TV presenter Michael Mosley found dead on Greek island of Symi

On the Greek island of Symi, 67-year-old British TV presenter and health-conscious physician Michael Mosley has been found dead, the island's deputy mayor told Reuters .

The body of a man believed to be Mosley was found in the Agia Marina area, police spokeswoman Konstantina Dimoglida said. Another police officer said the body was found on a rocky area near the sea.

The cause of death of the media personality has not yet been reported. The police are investigating the scene.

Michael Mosley had been missing since Wednesday, June 5, after he went for a walk along the coast alone in hot weather.

Mosley studied medicine and qualified as a doctor, and has spent the last few decades working as a television presenter and documentary maker. He is known for One Play, This Morning and Trust Me, I'm a Doctor on BBC Two.
