Italian PM confirms Zelensky's participation in G7 summit

President Volodymyr Zelensky will take part in the G7 summit, which will be held from June 13 to 15 in the city of Brindisi in southern Italy.
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni speaks to journalists, European Pravda reports, citing the ANSA news agency.
Meloni said the G7 summit would involve "at least fifteen" countries and international organizations, in addition to the Group's leaders and the Pope.
The Italian prime minister did not specify whether Zelensky would be in Italy in person or join the meeting via video call.
Politico previously reported that President Zelensky may also attend the G7 summit, but there was no official confirmation.
