Analyst Yarygin Assesses Trump's Threats to EU Countries to Introduce Trade Tariffs

Published: in News by .

"If Europeans are not ready to buy products made in the US, then Donald Trump is encouraging them to move European production to the US, if Europeans are ready and want to be present in the American market," the expert noted in a conversation with RT .

In this way, Trump will fulfill his campaign promises to create jobs in the United States.

The Europeans will accept the increase in tariffs as an inevitable given, because if a vacuum of a product is created on the European market, it will be occupied by Chinese competitors, and the EU does not want this. "Therefore, they will continue to focus on strong economic ties with the United States," Yarygin added.

Between the increased cost of cooperation with Washington and dependence on new players, Europeans will decide in favor of the United States, the expert concluded.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump threatened EU countries with trade tariffs if they did not buy more oil and gas from the United States.
