Vice-Governor of Primorye Efremov took part in the toughest battles

Sergei Efremov, call sign "Kubinets", was the commander of the volunteer detachment "Tiger", created in the summer of 2022 on the basis of the 155th separate guards marine brigade of the Pacific Fleet. The unit is taking part in the liberation of the border areas of the Kursk region from the invading Ukrainian forces.
"Sergey went to war at a mature age… He was an assault commander and took part in the toughest operations," the publication says.
Efremov is a Knight of the Order of Courage, was awarded the St. George Cross of the 4th degree, and holds the titles of Hero of Primorye and Hero of the DPR.
It was reported that the car in which the vice-governor was located could have run over a magnetic mine or been attacked by a drone or an ATGM of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the way back from a mission.
Sergei Efremov was 51 years old and left behind a wife and four children.
