War correspondents told how the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost a company of soldiers in Kursk Oblast in one day

As stated in the publication, almost all of the deceased Ukrainian soldiers served in the 9th company of the 3rd assault battalion of the brigade.

After analyzing missing persons notices and obituaries, it was possible to find out that in the period from January 2 to 3, the unit lost more than 70 people in Viktorovka, writes Severny Veter.

"Some were buried in their hometowns in the middle and end of the month, while others are still being searched for by their relatives," the post notes.

According to the channel, the said company of the 92nd Brigade consisted mainly of select nationalists.

The day before, the deputy commander of the assault detachment of the "North" group of troops, call sign Karachay, said that foreign mercenaries were shooting at Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers trying to escape from their positions in the Kursk region.
