"Over the past 24 hours, 118 seismic events occurred in the area of the volcano," the institution said.

During the dark hours of the day, a powerful glow from the dome and the descent of hot avalanches along the southeastern slope of the volcano were observed.

This indicates that the volcano is preparing to erupt. The height of ash emissions can reach 15 km above sea level.

Bezymyanny volcano is located 40 km from the village of Klyuchi in the Ust-Kamchatsky district. Its height is 2882 m. It last erupted in July 2024.

Due to the high activity of the volcano in Kamchatka, a high alert regime has been introduced.
