Baerbock previously said that Germany should increase pressure on the Americans so that they understand that they "have something to lose."

As Zakharova noted, the Basic Law of the FRG still contains legal norms that include the words “occupation regime” and “occupation authorities.”

"Perhaps she decided to end the occupation?" the Foreign Ministry representative asked.

Zakharova also reported that there are 30 thousand American military personnel in Germany, and that US nuclear weapons in Germany are not controlled by the German government.

In addition, the diplomat noted, German business has been bled dry, including due to the blowing up of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines.

At the same time, Zakharova added that she still feels sorry for the Germans, especially the Eastern ones, among whom there are many worthy, intelligent people, anti-fascists and true patriots who understand the interests of the people.
