What will the arts festival "Traditions and Modernity" present?

This year the event will be held in the Central Manege, Gostiny Dvor and the exhibition complex "Art-space". From year to year "Traditions and Modernity" unites artists from all over the world. In addition, this is an excellent opportunity for young authors to declare themselves, and gallery owners and collectors have a chance to acquire a truly unique item.

The festival will be international. This year the emphasis is on establishing new contacts with representatives of the cultural communities of the BRICS countries, South Africa, Brazil, India, China, Ethiopia, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and many African countries.

"In light of the current political situation, a decision was made to open the doors of the festival to American artists. This decision is not just a gesture of goodwill, but a manifesto of our unwavering loyalty to peaceful ideals. The concept of the festival "Art Without Borders" is especially acute today and reflects the deep desire of society for unity," says Vera Kiseleva, head of the Moscow Public Foundation for the Support of Culture and Development of Contemporary Art.

The winners of the festival will be traditionally determined by a strict international jury in the following nominations: "Painting", "Graphics", "Mask", "Doll", "Sculpture", "Photography", "Installation", "Digital Art", "NFT", "Applied Art" and "Museum Science".

Festival guests will be able to attend themed performances, press conferences, music concerts, round tables and screenings of short films.

The festival will end with a ceremonial award ceremony for the winners of the annual arts prize "VERA".
