Bonya says that she wanted to pay for the rental of a helicopter that would take a drone operator to the mountains to use the UAV to take a closer look at the place where the climber is located and understand her condition.
However, at the last moment the plan fell through. Bonya was told that the Kyrgyz Ministry of Emergency Situations had already launched its drone with a thermal imager, which had found no signs of life on the mountain .
At the same time, according to the TV presenter, the drone was flying too far from Nagovitsyna’s tent and the video taken does not allow us to confidently speak about the death of the Russian woman.
However, someone is preventing her from sending a helicopter to Pobeda Peak, Bonya said.
Russian Natalia Nagovitsina broke her leg on August 12 while descending from Pobeda Peak in Kyrgyzstan and got stuck at an altitude of more than seven thousand meters. Several attempts were made to save the woman, but none of them were successful.
The council of climbers came to the conclusion that it was no longer possible to save Nagovitsyna .
