Modernization of heating networks will increase the reliability of heat supply to Novosibirsk schools

The list of objects includes educational institutions in the city districts where work is underway to replace large sections of heating networks that have exhausted their resource. Among them are schools No. 167, 128, 170, 65, 188, 48, 202, 100, 7, 92, 45; gymnasiums No. 2, 7, 17; SGPTU-12, PU-67 and the nutrition college.

According to the CEO of the generating company Dmitry Peryazev, uninterrupted heat supply to socially significant facilities of the city is a priority for power engineers. The program for modernizing the grid complex, which the company has been implementing since 2022, is aimed at significantly increasing the reliability of the entire heating system of Novosibirsk.

In particular, this year it is planned to replace more than 55 kilometers of heating networks, including modernization, major and current repairs, as well as the construction of new sections. The amount of investment in the heating network complex will amount to 9.5 billion rubles, which is 40 percent more than in 2024.

Modern materials and technologies will be used in key areas – in particular, pipes with factory-made polyurethane foam insulation and a system of operational remote control. This will significantly increase the operational reliability of the networks and will allow for the prompt prevention of emergency situations. The bulk of the work is carried out in the summer, during preparation for the upcoming heating season.
